Curriculum Vitae Moshe Schein Let me introduce myself. I am a middle-aged general surgeon practicing in Ladysmith, a small rural town in northern Wisconsin. I arrived in Ladysmith in 2006, and the life journey which brought me here could be summarized in one paragraph. Born in Poland, raised and educated and fought (in wars) in Israel. I’m an Israeli citizen. I studied medicine in Italy and Israel and married a Swiss girl--I’m also a Swiss citizen. Later I trained in surgery in South Africa and England and practiced as a surgeon in South Africa and then Israel. I emigrated to the U.S. and practiced in Milwaukee, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, where my last academic appointment was as professor of surgery at Cornell’s Medical School. In 2004 I left urbane academia to become a rural surgeon in Keokuk, Iowa, on the Mississippi River. Should you want to learn details please scroll down... Personal Date of Birth:
